Women's Competition

• Gigi Ambandos (USA) erred on B (2 falls), UB (1 fall), and FX (hands down on a double full).

• Sube (GDR) mounted B with a press handstand to walkover across the width of the beam.

• The most popular UB dismounts were toe-on somersault off.

• Rensch (GDR) won V with a handspring front and layout Tsukahara.

• Gnauck (GDR) tumbled a triple twist, double back and Arabian to full twist in finals.
