Eligibility
I don't know which US gymnast is teh
odd-one-out for the tour. I've
heard thatKerri is joining her 5
teammates on the tour..so which
one is
not going? I know that it is either Amy or Jaycie...All the others have
given
up their eligibility already. I do
hope that Jaycie and Domi Moc
stay in the sport... they both have so much more to
give! (And get
from it...)
And of course, like many others, I am
interested in the status of the
international
gymnasts...which will stay in teh sport, which
will
retire, who will be the next to move out of
their home country...
I remember Nemov
saying that he planned to move to the US after the 1996
Games...is that
plan still on? (Will he move near
me? :) )
One
more question--which of the international gymnasts speak English? I
know Cacovean does, along with many of the male gymnasts (Scherbo,
Sharipov), and Piskun...but does anyone know of
others? Please e-mail
me privately with any info on this...
Thanks!

Re: letter sent to Kyle C
Sorry to everyone!
I had an after-thought
to a letter I wrote to Kyle and I can't get his
address
back..... Sorry everyone else!!!!!!!!!!!!!
TO Kyle
C.
an after-thought to my prevoius letter to you:
As far as turning over my child to a
coach for the length of a
competition...I can also
tell you that if I thought any coach put my
child
in a dangerous situation, or told her to do anything that she and
/or I did
not agree with, I would immediatly go out on the
floor and
withdraw my child from the competition.
While training, I have called
my daughter from the
gym on several occasions because I thought a few
coaches
were (and still are) idiots.

NBC can KMA!
What's up with this Sh***y coverage? No men's vault, and no men's
high bar! Men's
high bar is by far one of the most entertaining and
spectacular
events in men's gymnastics! They'd wrather show pommels over
high
bar? To us men.
pommels is great.
But to the non-gymnast, men's high
bar is
the most popular of the sport. Look
at any men's competition.
Which seats fill up first- pommels, or high
bar? Obviously, NBC has NEVER
been to a gymnastics meet, or they would've covered high
bar!
Listening to Tesh and Dagget
are bad enough, but not covering a big
event like
high bar is like watching a girl's floor routine with no sound!
And
how about that idiot's comment (Dagget)- "The
way I judge how
difficult a move is is by watching the crowd and seeing if they're all
staring and pointing". Dagget, back
in the days, you WERE a good gymnast,
but you need
to wake up, quit staring at yourself in the mirror, and get
back in touch with the sport of men's gymnastics!
Is there someone on this list with NBC we
can talk to? This is
rediculous and obnoxious!

Flashes?
I
don't know about everyone else, but I for one keep my eyes closed
whenever I'm upside down. Maybe Moceanu
can take some notes! LOL ;-*

Does anyone have the address of a web site
with ACCURATE lists of who has
made event finals?
Every one I've seen so far (on the web, posted here, the
newspaper)
has been slightly different from every other one.
And does anyone know
who goes in for Kerri Strug on vault and/or floor
if
she cant perform?
Thanks
Ti
