Anybody else out there have coverage that actually included the
actual Women's AA medals ceremony?

Re: Strug considers $$$
Hey all!
Well,
although I would love to see Kerri compete in college, I also think
that she has a great opportunity to make tons of money and
be set for
awhile. She has suddenly become America's
sweetheart and is very, very
marketable. There is alot
to be said for financial security, and if Kerri
plays
her cards right, she should be very secure. If all she wants is a
college education, she can get that will all the money she
makes from
endorsements, but if she wants the
experience of competing in college, then
she
should stay strong and not let the money persuade her. Yikes, what a
hard
decision!

What happened to Dawes and Miller?
We had a major storm and the power
was out for most of women's AA.
I
know that Dom D. and Shannon both made
mistakes but could someone fill me
in on what they
were?
I am glad that Pods won.
I love the artistry that she brings with her.
(I am an ex-ballet
dancer.) I think it would be a
great improvement to
the sport if more gymnasts
would follow in her footsteps i.e. less posing
more
dancing.
Also, I have NBC's women's team optionals
and hope to have event finals (with
more luck than
tonight). If anybody from Canada or
the border would like
to trade my tape for a tape
filled with French Canadian TV I would be
more
than willing. I don't feel comfortable
making copies but would
sacrifice my tape so that
my students could have a larger variety of
shows
to see.
Thanks,
Heather

Re: Romanians
re: Marinescu
pulled from AA
What I want to know if what 'bad habits' she picked up
in Bucharest!?!
Joy I totally agree with you.
She had the scores to qualify she deserved
to go
on to the competition. Amanar did great, she was
terrific on her
second vault espcailly.
I'm
happy to see them all take medals. -- Lisa
