With Moceanu and Miller securely #1 and #2 they
will
compete in the last two positions, and there
shouldn't be any of those
fights.
It
seems to me like there would be *tremendous* potential for argument in
that situation.
Additionally, as a few others on Gymn have said, both Lori Forster (3
athletes!!!)
and Mary Lee Tracy are equally worthy and, perhaps,
have more
serene coaching styles. . . something to
think about.
Finally, what about Amy Chow. If you recall, she needed her coach with
her
on the floor to keep her nerves calm. Granted she's a year older and more
experienced, but who knows . . .

that
someone just pulled the fuses on the lights?

In our Gym Stars magazine there is a prize section where if
you answer
a question correct then you could
possibly be picked to get a prize.
Well, for one of the prizes they are
giving away a '96 women's
gymnastics calendar
called Going For the Gold. Here is what it says:
This full color
calendar features pictures of many of America's top
gymnasts,
such as, Dominique Dawes, Shannon Miller, Amanda Borden, and
Svetlana Bogenskaia (as honarary
American!!) It is also available for
sale by
sending a U.S. check or money order for $12.95 ($10.95 for
U.S.A readers)
to: The Bradford Book Company, P.O. Box 283, East
Hanover, New Jersey
07936, USA.
-----
On the front it has a picture of Dominique Dawes
doing her straddle
mount on the beam. It is neat
looking. If we do not win it we are
definatly
going to order it!!!!
We just thought some people might be interested.
Also, they posted
somethig
about Gymn-L in it!!! It was cool :) Gotta
go now!! Bye!!!
Feel free to e-mail us if you have any questions!!!
Bye!!!
Your friends,
Margi and Mardi =:)
