Dianne was born on June 17, 1968
in Gary, Indiana. A powerful gymnast like Mary Lou
Retton, Dianne was considered Retton's strongest competition leading up to
1984. An ankle injury prevented Diane from finishing competition at the
1984 US Olympic Trials; petitions onto the team were not allowed. Dianne and husband Tom Drahozal were the owners of Skyline Gymnastics in Chicago. After a brief illness, Dianne died on February 4, 2021.
