        That might be a bit much to ask; this is the ultimate home crowd and
there's no way to call back the hype.  I suppose the really knowledgeable
gymn fans in the audience will cheer for whoever they really support,
whichever country, but there are also a lot of people there to see the
Americans only, IMHO (witness the great exodus after the Americans were done
women's comp, ignoring the Russians and the Chinese).  Crowds are crowds and
do what they will.
        I *do* wish they'd do something about the people using their
flashes, though... it's bad enough that the NBC team has mentioned it
