Subject: Shannon poster

Does anyone know if there is any way to procure one of the McDonald's
posters of Shannon Miller (besides the illegal act of tearning one down
late some night)?  I know it's a weird question, but I love the artwork.
Any McD's workers on teh list who could help out?  Thanks...  :) Joy

Could somebody describe the poster (what's she doing?  what's the
art like?) for those of us who are McDonald's-impaired right now?  (Believe
it or not, there's no longer a McD's anywhere in the vicinity of Cornell) :)

I just received tickets from a relative who asked me to see if I can sell
them.  He wants face value for them.

There are 4 seats together for each of the following events.  You can buy two
or all four:
  Gymnastics finals  7/24 @ 4:15
  Basketball 7/20 @ 10:00
  Gymnastics 7/20 @ 4:30
  Weightlifting 7/23 @ 12:30
  Cycling 7/24 @ 10:00
  Rythmic Gym.. 8/4 @ 1:00

If you are interested let me know asap.

Just thought I would let the rythmic fans kow that Kirsten tried
rythmic for the first time a few days ago and she is in love! The coach
was wonderful. Her background was very comforting to us as parents and
the progress this little team has made for being such a new/young team
sounds great. With a three year compulsory background, a great deal of
flexibility and a wonderful coach; Kirsten is very excited about her
future. She is already talking about competing with the team in Jan.
We will have to see how quickly she can learn the routines and how to
handle the appratus.
Thanks to all those who have helped us with our interest in Rythmics!

1991 Worlds?  I thought it was first used at the 1984 Olympics.  How I
shudder at all those tens with clear form deductions, eg Retton's AA floor
routine.  Shoddy, but quickly covered up landing faults on at least two
passes.  You can even see the faults in real time, not slow motion.
